HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 05182010 - C.05RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Public Works Director, or designee, to execute a Right of Way Certification for the Marsh Creek Road Rubberized Asphalt (RAC) Concrete Overlay project, Brentwood area. FISCAL IMPACT: There is no impact to the County General Fund. The project is funded with 85.3% ECCRFFA funds and 14.7% Federal funding from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. BACKGROUND: Caltrans requires a Right of Way Certification to be executed in order to receive federal funding. The Right of Way Certification document has an indemnification clause which requires Board authorization. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: The project will lose federal funding if the right of way certification is not signed.
