Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee (Donna Wigand), to
execute, on behalf of the County, Contract Amendment Agreement #74–387–1 with Seneca
Residential and Day Treatment Center for Children, a non-profit corporation, effective June
1, 2010, to amend Contract #74–387, to modify the Special Conditions to add a six-month
automatic extension through December 31, 2010, in an amount not to exceed $215,927, with
no change in the payment limit of $251,915 and no change in the original term of
November 1, 2009 through June 30, 2010.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This Contract is funded 30% by Federal FFP Medi-Cal, 17% by State Early and Periodic
Screening, Diagnosis and Treatment (EPSDT), 50% by Individuals with Disabilities
Education Act (IDEA/SB 90), and 3% by County Mental Health Realignment.

BACKGROUND: (CONT'D)
2009 through June 30, 2010, for the provision of school-based mental health services to
Seriously Emotionally Disturbed students at Kennedy High School in Richmond.
Approval of Contract Amendment Agreement #74–387–1 will allow the Contractor to
continue providing services during an automatic extension, through December 31, 2010.
