Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf
of the County, Contract Amendment Agreement #26-543-2 with Northern California
Hematology Oncology Consultants, Inc., a corporation, effective June 1, 2010, to amend
Contract #26-543-1, to decrease the payment limit by $342,500, from $576,000 to a new
payment limit of $233,500, with no change in the original term of September 1, 2008
through August 31, 2011.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This Contract is funded 100% by Enterprise Fund I.
BACKGROUND:
On October 7, 2008, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #26-543-1 with Northern
California Hematology Oncology Consultants, Inc. for the period from September 1, 2008
through August 31, 2011, for the provision of oncology services including clinic coverage,
consultation, surgical and/or medical procedures and on-call services, for patients at Contra
Costa Regional

Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and Contra Costa Health Centers, through August
31, 2011.
