FISCAL IMPACT: 100% Federal funds / CFDA # 93.569 Passed through State agency No County match BACKGROUND: The Department's Community Services Bureau is applying for funding from California Department of Community Services and Development (CA CSD) to continue the Clerical Assistant Trainee (CAT) program for the term July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011. The CAT program provides job training and on-the-job experience to low-income individuals residing in Contra Costa County.
