HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 05112010 - C.46RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the County Administrator, or designee, to accept funding from the California Arts Council State-Local Partnership Program in the amount of $15,000 to fund programs administered by the Arts and Culture Commission of Contra Costa County for the period July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011. FISCAL IMPACT: No additional fiscal impact will be incurred by the application for and acceptance of these funds. The State requires an in-kind match equivalent to the amount of grant funds accepted. The County General Fund budget provides sufficient support to cover this requirement. BACKGROUND: Established by the Board of Supervisors in December 1996 as an official County commission and the authorized County partner with the California Arts Council, the Arts and Culture Commission (AC5) first applied for and received funding from the State-Local Partnership Program in July 1995 for fiscal year 1995-1996.
