Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee (Pat Godley), to
execute, on behalf of the County, Contract Amendment Agreement #23–432–5 with Beacon
Partners, Inc., a corporation, effective March 17, 2010, to amend Contract #23–432 (as
amended by subsequent Amendments #23–432–1 through #23–432–4), to increase the
payment limit by $280,000, from $320,000 to a new payment limit of $600,000, with no
change in the original term of August 1, 2008 through July 31, 2010.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This Contract is funded 100% by budgeted Enterprise Fund I.
BACKGROUND:
On July 22, 2008 the Board of Supervisor approved Contract #23–432 with Beacon
Partners, Inc. (as amended by subsequent Amendments #23–432–1 through #23–432–4) for
the period from August 1, 2008 through July 31, 2010, for the provision of professional
consultation and technical assistance to the County’s Information System Director
