HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 04272010 - C.26RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE Appropriation Adjustment No. 5072 authorizing the transfer of appropriations in the amount of $32,725 from the Sheriff-Coroner (0255) to General Services (0080) for renovations to offices located at 651 Pine Street, 11th Floor, Martinez. FISCAL IMPACT: This action transfers existing appropriations in the amount of $32,725 from the Sheriff-Coroner operating budget to the General Services Department. There is no change in net County cost. BACKGROUND: In December of 2009, the Sheriff's Recruiting Division moved from 724 Escobar Street, Martinez to 651 Pine Street-11th Floor, Martinez. This move is projected to save the Sheriff's Department $32,725 in rent expense at the old location. The rent savings of $32,725 is being transferred to offset a portion of the renovation cost of the relocation, as directed by the General Services Department.
