HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 04202010 - C.47RECOMMENDATION(S):
Authorize the Department of Conservation and Development to process payments not to
exceed $10,000 for additional landscaping and maintenance along the Boulevard of Trees in
the Alamo area.
FISCAL IMPACT:
No General Fund impact. The $10,000 was required as a condition of approval for the
Alamo Summit project. The conditions specified that the use of the funds would be for the
Boulevard of Trees project. The funds have been paid to the Department of Conservation
and Development, and have been designated for this purpose.
BACKGROUND:
The Alamo Summit project (DP 90-3030 and Subdivision 90-7553) was approved by the
Board of Supervisors in 1992. The project, which allowed for 37 single family residential
lots, requires a $10,000 contribution to the Boulevard of Trees project. Supervisor Piepho's
office has worked with the Alamo community members who are involved in this effort to
ensure the best use of these funds.
