Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee (Donna Wigand), to
execute, on behalf of the County, Contract Amendment Agreement #74–199–8 with Contra
Costa Association for Retarded Citizens, a non-profit corporation, effective March 1, 2010,
to amend Contract #74–199–7, to increase the payment limit by $30,000, from $426,937 to
a new payment limit of $456,937, with no change in the original term of July 1, 2009
through June 30, 2010.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This Contract is funded 33% by Federal FFP Medi-Cal, 21% by State Early and Periodic,
Screening, Diagnostic and Treatment (EPSDT), and 46% by Proposition 10.
BACKGROUND:
On August 25, 2009, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #74–199–7 with Contra
Costa Association for Retarded Citizens for the period from July 1, 2009 through June 30,
2010, for the provision of wrap-around, day treatment, and mental health services for
