HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 04132010 - C.91RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Auditor-Controller to issue payment in the amount of $300.00 from the Richmond Sanitary Service (RSS) Abatement Fund to The Watershed Project, 1327 S. 46th Street, Richmond CA for event expenses relating to the El Sobrante Earth Day Cleanup on April 24, 2010. FISCAL IMPACT: Expenses will be paid out of the Richmond Sanitary Service (RSS) Abatement Funding. BACKGROUND: On December 18, 2007, the Board of Supervisors approved funding in the amount of $111,378 to be collected by the Richmond Sanitary Service and paid to the County for use on programs and services that directly aid in the prevention or abatement of illegal dumping within the areas served by the Richmond Sanitary Service in the designated Supervisorial districts: 75% to District I; 25% to District II. This action will enable District I to pay the Watershed Project for event expenses relating to the El Sobrante Earth Day Clean-up scheduled for April 24, 2010.
