HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 04132010 - C.77RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee (Haven Fearn), to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract Amendment Agreement #74–181–10 with Bay Area Community Resources, Inc., a non-profit corporation, effective March 1, 2010, to amend Contract #74–181–9, to increase the payment limit by $41,911, from $253,647 to a new payment limit of $295,558, with no change in the original term of July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2010. FISCAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded 76% by Federal Primary Prevention Set-Aside, 10% by California Drug Court Implementation (CDCI), and 14% by California Emergency Management Agency – Justice Assistance Grant Offender Treatment Program (CAL EMA JAG-OTP). BACKGROUND: On July 21, 2009, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #74–181–9 with Bay Area Community Resources, Inc. for the period from July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2010, for the provision of drug abuse prevention and treatment services.
