HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 04132010 - C.73RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent, on behalf of Health Services Department, to execute a Blanket Purchase Order with R-Computer, in an amount not to exceed $750,000, for a 1 year term, for Hewlett Packard Personal Computer (PC) Systems, Ergonomic Lift Stands and PC Locks. FISCAL IMPACT: Total Cost of $750,000 is budgeted in the Enterprise Fund I. BACKGROUND: Health Services Information Systems is responsible for supporting approximately 3,500 computers within Contra Costa County. Most of these new PC systems will replace old PC’s that are unable to be upgraded and no longer adhere to current Microsoft support requirements as seen with the Windows 2000 Operating System. PC Systems include a HP DC6000 Small Form Factor PC, 19” Viewsonic LCD monitor, Ergonomic keyboard, mouse, Microsoft Office Professional 2007 OEM software, Ergonomic All-In-One Height Adjustable Lift Stand & PC Lock.
