FISCAL IMPACT: None BACKGROUND: The Contra Costa Inter-jurisdictional Council on Homelessness (CCICH)
was established on March 11, 2008, combining the efforts of the Contra Costa County Homeless Continuum of Care
Board and the Homeless Inter-Jurisdictional Inter-Departmental Work Group. CCICH is charged with providing a
forum for communication and coordination about the overall implementation of the Ten Year Plan to End
Homelessness and providing advice and input on the operations of homeless services. CCICH meets on a regular basis
to discuss issues surrounding homelessness throughout the County and is made up of representatives from city and
county government, health care, law enforcement, service providers and consumers.
