Accept Petition for Annexation of the Colina Canyon development (Subdivision 8791) into
the Hillcrest Heights Geologic Hazard Abatement District (“GHAD”), and adopt GHAD
Resolution No. 2010/02 fixing a hearing for May 11, 2010 at 9:30 a.m., to consider the
Petition for Annexation and the proposed addendum to the Plan of Control to Hillcrest
Heights GHAD.
FISCAL IMPACT:
BACKGROUND:
The purpose of the hearing will be for the GHAD Board to receive and consider all
objections to the proposed annexation and the proposed Colina Canyon Plan of Control and
to make a determination on whether to approve the annexation and the proposed Colina
Canyon Plan of Control. The proposed annexation will not change or otherwise affect the
assessment for the properties within the existing boundaries of the Hillcrest Heights GHAD,
