ACCEPT report from the Employment and Human Services Department, Community
Services Bureau, on the Tuition Based Child Care Program, as recommended by the Family
and Human Services Committee.
FISCAL IMPACT:
No fiscal impact.
BACKGROUND:
On March 1, 2010 the Family and Human Services Committee received an update from the
Employment and Human Services Department, Community Services Bureau, on the
progress made in the Tuition Based child care program. The Family and Human Services
Committee asked that the report be submitted to the Board of Supervisors so that all
Supervisors and the public would be aware of the program.
CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT:
This program supports the following community outcomes: Children Ready for and
Succeeding in School; and Children and Youth Healthy and Preparing for Productive
