FISCAL IMPACT: 100% private grant funding No County match BACKGROUND: The Department's Community Services Bureau is applying for funding from Kaiser Permanente, Northern California Region, East Bay Area for a Cooking Health Every Way (CHEW) project to provide cooking demonstration and nutrition classes to parents. Classes to be provided to families receiving services from childcare centers in West Contra Costa County.
