APPROVE Appropriation Adjustment No. 5062 authorizing new revenue in Airport Fixed
Assets (BU 0843) in the amount of $20,603 from accumulated depreciation and salvage and
appropriating it to purchase one replacement vehicle for the Airports Department.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This action provides appropriations from depreciation and estimated salvage for the
replacement of one vehicle. The estimated purchase cost of $22,350 will be funded with
accumulated depreciation ($19,603), estimated salvage ($1,000), and funds ($1,747) from
the Airport Department 2009/10 Budget.
BACKGROUND:
The Airport Department is replacing one vehicle that is 16 years old and is not cost effective
to repair or maintain. The purchase will be funded with accumulated depreciation, salvage,
and funds from the FY2009/10 budget.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
Continuing repair costs will significantly impact the Airport Department's operations
