APPROVE the Wildcat Creek Basin 2010 Sediment Removal Project and AUTHORIZE the
Public Works Director, or designee, to advertise the project [DCD-CP#10-04] Project No.:
7527-6D9715, and
FIND the project is a California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), Class 4g Categorical
Exemption, pursuant to Article 19, Section 15304(g) of the CEQA Guidelines, and
DIRECT the Director of Conservation and Development to file a Notice of Exemption with
the County Clerk, and
AUTHORIZE the Chief Engineer to arrange for payment of $25 fee to Conservation and
Development for processing, and a $50 fee to the County Clerk for filing the Notice of
Exemption.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no impact to the County General Fund.

Subject:APPROVE the Wildcat Creek Basin 2010 Sediment Removal Project and AUTHORIZE the Public Works
Director, or designee, to advertise the project.
BACKGROUND:
The project is necessary to perform desilting maintenance at the Wildcat Creek sediment
basin in order to restore sediment basin capacity and to protect the downstream channel
and marsh from excessive sediment deposition.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
Delay in approving the project will result in a delay of maintenance activities and may
jeopardize funding.
