HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 03092010 - C.38RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent, on behalf of the Health Services Department, to execute a Purchase Order with the Echo Group, in an amount not to exceed $230,000.00 for the purchase of software maintenance and hardware maintenance for Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs Services, for the period of July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011. FISCAL IMPACT: Total cost of $230,000.00 is budgeted in the Hospital Enterprise I. BACKGROUND: Since 1999, the Department has used the Echo Group’s INSYST System to process the Health Services Department’s Mental Health & Alcohol and Other Drugs Services client registrations, service charges, billing, accounts receivable and scheduling functions. The County owns a perpetual license for the Echo INSYST System.
