STABILIZATION PROGRAM
Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP). On September
BACKGROUND: (CONT'D)
1, 2009, CHDC and the County entered into NSP program agreement number
09-02-NSP. CHDC has requested that the County assign its designation as a developer to
Parkway Housing, Inc. (Parkway). Parkway is a California nonprofit public benefit
corporation. Parkway is a subsidiary of CHDC and has the same Board of Directors and
staff as CHDC. County staff supports this request. The execution of a NSP program
agreement with Parkway will not have any impact on the implementation of NSP. CHDC
has purchased one home through the NSP. It will complete the rehabilitation and sale of
this home as CHDC. Future transactions will be through Parkway.
