HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 02232010 - C.66RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and Authorize the Purchasing Agent to execute a purchase order with Dell Computers, on behalf of the Library, to purchase computers and monitors for the new Walnut Creek Downtown Library, in an amount not to exceed $135,000. FISCAL IMPACT: Funds for this equipment are in the Library's FY 09/10 budget. The City of Walnut Creek will reimburse the Library for the total amount of $135,000. BACKGROUND: The New Walnut Creek Downtown library is opening July 2010. BACKGROUND: (CONT'D) of hardware and other equipment jurisdiction-wide. This simplifies the inventory and maintenance, as well as ensuring a faster service response. This purchase order is with Dell Computers, with whom the County has a contract. In accordance with Administrative Bulletin No 611.0, County Departments are required to get Board approval for single item purchases over $100,000.
