delinquency prevention pilot program. The pricing structure of the program is discounted
based upon the volume of cases submitted to be processed. Due to the statewide focus on
early intervention efforts, other agencies, including Central Sierra Child Support Agency,
have requested to submit their cases, with Contra Costa County to increase the volume of
cases submitted and thereby reduce the per case cost. This is a collaborative effort to
address the State mandate and to accomplish this task in a cost efficient manner by
leveraging the buying power of the group as a whole.
Approval of this Interagency Agreement will allow Central Sierra Child Support Agency to
pay Contra Costa County for early intervention deliquency prevention services that were
specifically applied to their Agency's caseload.
