HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 02232010 - C.48RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Employment and Human Services Director, or designee, to execute an amended contract with the California Department of Aging to the County by $407,515 to a total amount not to exceed $3,962,039 to include an increased baseline budget and One-Time-Only funding for Title III and Title VII programs for the period of July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2010. FISCAL IMPACT: Per California Department of Aging Agreement AP-0910-07, Amendment 2, County to receive an amended funding amount up to $3,962,039 to include an increased baseline budget and One-Time-Only funding. BACKGROUND: The Employment and Human Services Department, Aging and Adult Services Bureau, Area Agency on Aging (AAA) provides services to low income, older residents of Contra Costa County as defined in Title III of the Older Americans Act.
