HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 02232010 - C.45RECOMMENDATION(S): Adopt Position Adjust Resolution No. 20771 to add one Exempt Medical Staff Physician (VPW9) position at salary level 1P2 2220 ($9915 - $14,010) in the Health Services Department. FISCAL IMPACT: Upon approval, the cost of this action will be approximately $256,177 annually and will be fully offset by Mental Health Services Act funds. BACKGROUND: This position is part of the divisions state approved Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) plan. The position will be assigned to the MHSA Older Adult Program which is comprised of psychiatrist-led multi-disciplinary teams that serve providing outreach, engagement, ongoing community and home-based services to older adults throughout the county. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: Without this additional position, Mental Health will be unable to effictively implement it's State approved MHSA service plan.
