HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 02232010 - C.1RECOMMENDATION(S):
APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Chair, Board of Supervisors, to execute the Amendment
No. 14, to Agreement No. 87 with Contra Costa Transportation Authority (CCTA) to
increase the maximum compensation paid to Contra Costa County by $50,000 to a new total
of $3,468,000, effective December 16, 2009, as recommended by the Public Works
Director, Hercules area.
FISCAL IMPACT:
CCTA will pay the actual costs of right of way services performed by Real Property.
(ACQ/3540)
BACKGROUND:
CCTA requires a variety of right of way services related to the State Route 4 West Gap
project, but has no right of way staff and has contracted with Contra Costa County (County)
for these services. On August 1, 1998, the Board approved the original agreement between
the County and CCTA. Additional funds from CCTA are required for the County to provide
the necessary right of way services under the agreement. Accordingly, this amendment
expands the total agreement value by $50,000 for a total agreement value of $3,468,000.
