HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 02022010 - C.59RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Redevelopment Director to execute an amendment extending a contract with Keyser Marston Associates, Inc. for financial analysis related to proposed uses at the Rodeo Marina, from December 31, 2009 to December 31, 2011, without change to the existing payment limit of $13,000. FISCAL IMPACT: No impact to general fund. The Agency has budgeted funding in the amount of $13,000 to cover contract costs. BACKGROUND: The Contractor has been retained to provide a market and financial evaluation of proposed uses at the Rodeo Marina using a financial pro forma as the basis for review. The concept for the Rodeo waterfront includes a variety of uses and the evaluation will indicate the overall feasibility of the separate uses and of the concept as a whole over a five year time frame. The contract is extended to allow completion of the project. Redevelopment staff has been advised by County Counsel that since the original contract had to be approved by the Agency Board because of the Special Conditions, it is appropriate that this proposed amendment should also be approved by the Board.
