APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent to execute a purchase order with Compucom Systems, Inc., on
behalf of the Department of Conservation and Development (DCD), for the period 11/1/2009 to 10/31/2014 for a
total of $193,004.25 for the purchase of 210 Microsoft licenses. The contract provides for an annual verification of
the total number of users and licenses used/needed at the end of each year (a true-up) to adjust for any additions or
deletions to the original number of licenses purchased.
FISCAL IMPACT:
No impact on General Fund. Costs to be covered from land development application and building permit fees.
BACKGROUND:
Previously, DCD had 2 separate Purchase Orders for Microsoft licenses With the merger of the Community
Development and Building Inspection departments, DCD is in the process of combining vendor purchase orders.
