HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 02022010 - C.30RECOMMENDATION(S): AUTHORIZE the Employment & Human Services Department director, or designee, to APPLY for and ACCEPT funding from California Department of Education, in an amount not to exceed $5,500, for an Infant Toddler resource grant for training and technical assistance during the term July 1, 2009 through September 30, 2010. FISCAL IMPACT: No County match 100% State funds California Department of Education BACKGROUND: The Department submitted a grant to California Department of Education on January 15, 2010 for an Infant-Toddler (I/T) Resource Grant to secure funds for training and technical assistance for I/T staff. The training will focus on I/T observation methodology, evidence criteria and support materials. I/T Resource Grants are for the enhanced collaboration between Early Head Start and Child Development programs.
