HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 01262010 - C.29RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent to execute, on behalf of the Animal Services Department, a purchase order, in reference to Bid Sync Bid # 0910-004, to Butler Animal Health Supply, L. L. C., in the amount of $107,852 to purchase food for shelter animals for the period February 1, 2010 through January 31, 2012. FISCAL IMPACT: $ 107,852 (33% County General Fund, 67% fee and contract city revenue) BACKGROUND: The proposed Purchase Order with Butler Animal Health Supply will provide the Animal Services Department with food for animals in our two shelters for the period of February 1, 2010 through January 31, 2012. In accordance with Administrative Bulletin No 611.0, County Departments are required to get Board approval for single item purchases over $100,000. The County Administrator’s Office has reviewed this request and recommends approval.
