[DCD-CP#09-92] Project No.: 0676-6P1025, and FIND the project is a California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), Class 1(c) Categorical Exemption, pursuant to Section 15301(c) of the CEQA Guidelines, and DIRECT the Director of Conservation and Development to file a Notice of Exemption with the County Clerk, and AUTHORIZE the Public Works Director to arrange for payment of a $25 fee to the Department of Conservation and Development for processing, and a $50 fee to the County Clerk for filing the Notice of Exemption. FISCAL IMPACT: There is no impact to the County General Fund. This project is funded by Local Road Funds (100%). BACKGROUND: Contra Costa County Public Works Department (CCCPWD) is planning to implement the Willow Lake Road Sidewalk Gap Closure Project to close the last sidewalk gap on the south side of Willow Lake Road and provide pedestrians with standard facilities at every approach to Discovery Bay Elementary School. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: Delay in approving the project will result in a delay of design and construction and may jeopardize funding.
