HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 01192010 - C.22RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE Appropriation Adjustment No. 5041 authorizing new revenue in the Sheriff's Office (0362) in the amount of $599,327 from the 2007 Homeland Security Grant Program (HSGP) and appropriating it for homeland security related training and equipment. FISCAL IMPACT: This action increases revenue and appropriations by $599,327. There is no change in net county cost. CFDA No. 97.067 BACKGROUND: The 2007 Homeland Security Grant provides the Contra Costa County Operational Area $1,860,005. All projects and expenditures funded by the 2007 Homeland Security Grant were selected based on an assessment of Operational Area needs by first responders within the County, including law enforcement, the fire service, and health disciplines. In each operational area, the Anti-Terrorism Approval Body (Approval Authority) gives approval for all expenditures funded by Homeland Security Grants.
