RESOLUTION NO. 85/89
Government Code Sec. 25210 et seq.
SUBJECT: Notification of Hearing to Consider the Final Environmental Impact
Report and Adopt the Plan of Improvements for the West Antioch Creek
Improvements in County Service Area D-3. Project #7603-6D8431.
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES that:
This Board has before it for consideration the Final Environmental
Impact Report for West Antioch Creek Improvements including the Engineer's
Report dated June, 1984. Said documents, which show the general location
of said project and provide an estimate of the cost of the facilities to be
installed, are on file with, and may be examined at, the office of the
Clerk of the Board of Supervisors, Administration Building, Martinez,
California. Said documents contain a partial design modification to the
County Service Area D-3 Plans, from the Southern Pacific Railroad tracks to
north of the Atchison, Topeka, and Santa Fe Railroad tracks.
At 10:30 a.m, on March 26, 1985, in the Chambers of the Board of
Supervisors, Administration Building, Martinez, California, this Board
will conduct a public hearing to consider and act upon the Final Environ-
mental Impact Report and will hear and pass upon any and all written or oral
objections to said West Antioch Creek Improvements. Upon the conclusion
of the hearing, subject to testimony taken at said hearing, the Board may
certify the Final Environmental Impact Report as being in compliance with
the California Environmental Quality Act and may adopt all , or a portion,
of said plan as the plan of improvement for West Antioch Creek from the
Southern Pacific Railroad to the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad.
The Clerk of the Board is DIRECTED to publish a Notice of the
Hearing, pursuant to Government Code SS6061, once prior to the hearing, in
the "Antioch Daily Ledger", a newspaper of general circulation, circulated
in County Service Area D-3. Publication shall be completed at least
seven (7) days before said hearing.
