APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Employment and Human Services Director. or designee, on behalf of
the Workforce Development Board of Contra Costa, to execute a non-financial Memorandum of Understanding with
Diablo Valley College as a host agency to the Title V Workforce Experience Program to provide training and work
experience services to Title V qualifying older adults in Contra Costa County including mutual indemnification
against any claim arising out of the performance of this agreement for the period of December 1, 2009 through March
31, 2011.
FISCAL IMPACT:
No fiscal impact. Non-Financial Memorandum of Understanding.
BACKGROUND:
The Title V Work Experience Program gives participants an opportunity to learn job skills. Host agencies that agree
to participate in the Title V Work Experience Program provide training and guidance to the program participants in
the areas of soft skills, including work etiquette and
