HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 01122010 - C.100RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee (Donna Wigand), to execute, on behalf of the County, Novation Contract #24–933–26 with Crestwood Behavioral Health, Inc., a corporation, in an amount not to exceed $6,500,000, to provide subacute skilled nursing care services for the period from July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2010. This Contract includes a six-month automatic extension through December 31, 2010, in an amount not to exceed $3,250,000. FISCAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded 100% by Mental Health Realignment. BACKGROUND: This Contract meets the social needs of County’s population in that it provides subacute skilled nursing care services for County’s Seriously and Persistently Mentally III (SMPI) and neurobehavioral clients. BACKGROUND: (CONT'D) June 30, 2009, (with a six-month automatic extension through December 31, 2009), for the provision of Subacute skilled nursing care for County’s Seriously and Persistently Mentally Ill (SMPI) and Neurobehavioral clients. Approval of Contract #24 933-26 will replace the automatic extension allowing the Contractor to continue providing services through June 30, 2010, including mutual indemnification to hold harmless both parties for any claims arising out of the performance of this Contract.
