HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 01122010 - C.56RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE Appropriation Adjustment No. 5034 to authorize new revenue in the amount of $63,600 in the Emergency Services Division (0362) from health inspection fees and appropriate it for the consolidation of servers used by the Community Warning System. FISCAL IMPACT: This action increases revenue and appropriations by $63,600. BACKGROUND: The Contra Costa County Community Warning System consists of 25 separate and linked control centers, monitoring systems, communication systems, and automated links to radio and television stations serving the community. The system includes 40 sirens, over 700 alerting devices, and several servers. This funding will allow the Sheriff's Emergency Services Division to upgrade and consolidate existing servers with two virtualized servers in the Community Warning System network.
