Code Sec. 25526.5 SUBJECT: Conveyance of Surplus Property Northwest Corner of Taylor Boulevard and Ruth Drive Project No.: 0662-6U4268 Pleasant Hill Area The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES that: Contra Costa County acquired the real property at the northwest corner of Taylor Boulevard and Ruth Drive in Pleasant Hill, described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, for road purposes. Said property is DETERMINED to be surplus and no longer required for any County purpose and its estimated value does not exceed $10,000. This Board hereby APPROVES and AUTHORIZES the conveyance of said property to the City of Pleasant Hill, pursuant to Government Code Section 25526.5 and the Board Chair is hereby AUTHORIZED to execute a Quitclaim Deed on behalf of the County. The subject property contains approximately 3,400 square feet and is bisected by. an easement serving the City's corporation yard and park. The City has maintained the area for several years and intends to further landscape the area. The Board hereby FINDS that the project is exempt from Environmental Impact Report requirements as a Class 12 Categorical Exemption under County Guidelines and DIRECTS the County Public Works Director to file a Notice of Exemption with the County Clerk. The project has been determined to conform to the City of Pleasant Hill's General Plan. The Real Property Division is DIRECTED to cause .the deed to be delivered to the grantee for acceptance and recording. Dept.: Public Works Department (R/P) cc: Accounting Auditor-Controller Assessor vr:2.19res.t2 RESOLUTION NO. 85/94 Taylor Boulevard Surplus EXHIBIT W A portion of Lot 1 as shown on the map of Grayson Tract, filed August 5, 1952, in Book 47 of Map, page 40, in the Office of the County Recorder, described as follows: Beginning at the Northwest corner of said Lot 1 (47 M 40); thence from said point of beginning South 89029138" East (the bearing South 89029138" East being taken for the purpose of this description) along the north line of said Lot 1, 91.54 feet to the east line of said Lot 1; thence southerly along a curve to the left with a radius of 230 feet, the center of which bears North 88014'38" East, through an angle of 5043146" and arc length of 23.00 feet; then tangent to said curve, South 7029'08" East 2.72 feet; thence leaving said east line, South 81015'30" West, 109.80 feet to the west line of said Lot 1; thence along said west line, North 18056117" East 45.57 feet to the point of beginning.
