HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 12152009 - C.69RECOMMENDATION(S): Ratify the actions taken by the Health Services Director, or his designee (Wendel Brunner, M.D.), to execute, an agreement to use the San Ramon Valley Conference Center in the amount of $4,104.94, for the seasonal and H1N1 flu vaccination clinic, held on November 21, 2009. FISCAL IMPACT: 100% Federal Grant Funds. BACKGROUND: On November 21, 2009, Contra Costa County Health Services Department’s Public Health Division, Flu Immunization Program administered the seasonal and H1N1 flu vaccination to priority groups living in Contra Costa County at the San Ramon Valley Conference Center in San Ramon. Due to the emergent nature of responding to the H1N1 pandemic flu outbreak in Contra Costa County, staff were frequently faced with making logistics decisions about mass vaccination clinic locations, supplies and security within short time frames.
