HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 12152009 - C.51RECOMMENDATION(S): ADOPT Resolution No. 2009/582 approving and authorizing the Sheriff-Coroner, or designee, to apply for and accept the 2008 Buffer Zone Protection Program (BZPP) grant from the State of California in an amount not to exceed $207,834 to build security and risk management capabilities enhancing the security of California water systems for the period of January 1, 2009 through March 31, 2011. FISCAL IMPACT: No net County costs. New revenue of $207,834, 100% Federal. The Buffer Zone Protection Program grant is a State pass-through of Federal funding. The total allocation provided to the County by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and sub-granted through the State of California is $207,834.
