HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 12082009 - C.33RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee (Sherman Quinlan), to accept, on behalf of the County, Grant Award #28-511-20 (EA20-09-3) from the California Integrated Waste Management Board (CIWMB), to pay County an amount not to exceed $25,507, for the continuation of the Local Enforcement Agency (LEA) assistance funds for the Department's Environmental Health Division (Solid Waste Program), for the period July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2010. FISCAL IMPACT: Approval of this application will result in an amount not to exceed $25,507 of funding for the Department's Solid Waste Program. No County funds are required. BACKGROUND: The California Integrated Waste Management Board (CIWMB) accepted the County’s application as approved by the Board of Supervisors on June 23, 2009 for the Local Enforcement Agency (LEA) Grant Program, for the period from July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2010.
