Subject:California Grand Casino: Donation for Law Enforcement Services in Pacheco
BACKGROUND:
The California Grand Casino (CGC) desires to make a recurring monetary donation of
$180,500 annually for law enforcement services in the unincorporated community of
Pacheco for the period December 10, 2009 through December 10, 2029. Representatives of
District IV, the Office of the Sheriff, County Counsel and the County Administrator's office
have worked with the CGC to help facilitate delivery of the donation in the best interests of
the County and the CGC.
The CGC has been in operation for over 25 years in unincorporated Pacheco and recently
relocated to a new state-of-the-art facility within the same area. CGC has an established
record of community support and involvement. In this spirit, CGC desires to donate money
annually to support law enforcement in the Pacheco area.
