HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 12012009 - C.79hRECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent, on behalf of Health Services Department, Information Systems, to execute a purchase order in an amount not to exceed $368,766.38 with RComputer for the purchase of Hewlette Packard (HP) Personel Computer (PC) Systems, Ergonomic Lift Stands and PC Locks. FISCAL IMPACT: Enterprise Fund I. The pricing structure is under General Services Department's Purchasing WSCA Contract B27164. BACKGROUND: Health Services Information Systems is responsible for supporting approximately 3,500 computers within Contra Costa County. Most of these new PC systems will replace old PC’s that are unable to be upgraded and no longer adhere to current Microsoft support requirements as seen with the Windows 2000 Operating System. PC Systems include a HP DC5800 Small Form Factor PC, 19” Viewsonic Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) monitor, Ergonomic keyboard, mouse, Microsoft Office Professional 2007 OEM software, Ergonomic All-In-One Height Adjustable Lift Stand & PC Lock.
