HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 11032009 - C.53RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Service Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract #26-977-9 with Pacific Urology, A Medical Corporation, in an amount not to exceed $300,000, to provide professional Urology services for patients at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and Contra Costa Health Centers, for the period from November 1, 2009 through October 31, 2012. FISCAL IMPACT: 100% Enterprise I Funds. Cost to the County depends upon utilization. As appropriate, patients and/or third party payors will be billed for services. BACKGROUND: For a number of years, the County has contracted with Medical and Dental Specialist to provide specialized professional services which are not otherwise available in its hospital and health centers. Approval of Contract #26-977-9 will allow the Contractor to continue to provide services through October 31, 2012.
