Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf
of the County, Contract Amendment Agreement #26-306-16 with Per Diem Staffing
Systems, Inc., a corporation, effective September 15, 2009 to amend Contract #26-306-14 to
increase the total payment limit by $100,000 from $195,000, to a new total of $295,000
with no change to the original term of February 1, 2009 through January 31, 2010.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This Contract is funded 100% by Enterprise Fund I.
BACKGROUND:
On April 7, 2009, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #26-306-14 with Per Diem
Staffing Systems, Inc., for the period from February 1, 2009 through January 31, 2010, for
the provision of temporary respiratory therapists services for Contra Costa Regional
Medical Center and Contra Costa Health Centers.
Due to three (3) vacant permanent positions, the Department has had to rely on Per Diem
Staffing
