Subject:ADD/CANCEL positions in the Ambulatory Care Division
BACKGROUND: (CONT'D)
that cancelling the vacant positions in the unit and adding an Ambulatory Care Clinic
Supervisor and an Ambulatory Care Clinic Coordinator more appropriately meet the
needs of the Ambulatory Care Division in the health centers.
Far East County health centers have more than doubled their exam rooms, this growth
requires additional clinical supervision and administrative management. For the two
health centers, the Ambulatory Care Clinical Supervisor will be responsible for the
planning, organizing and supervising nursing services and all clinical service. The
Ambulatory Care Clinic Supervisor will be reporting directly to the Ambulatory Care
Chief Executive Officer. The Ambulatory Care Clinic Coordinator will be responsible for
planning and coordinating of all support activities, facility and safety maintenance,
preparation and readiness for State inspections and licensure, patient complaints
resolutions, and providing in-service orientations and training. The Clinic Coordinator
will report to the Ambulatory Care Administrator.
