FISCAL IMPACT: None BACKGROUND: The Economic Opportunity Council (EOC) is a federally mandated
advising body linked with Community Action programs nationwide. The EOC has three sectors: Public, Private and
Low-Income. In Contra Costa County, these sectors are filled by fifteen members (five in each sector) and two
alternates.
This board order seeks the reappointment of six (6) individuals to seats in the Low-Income and Private/Non-profit
sectors for new terms July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2011.
