Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee (Wendel Brunner,
MD), to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract #25–012–20 with The Center for
Common Concerns, Inc. (dba HomeBase), a non-profit corporation, in an amount not to
exceed $138,900, to provide consultation and technical assistance to the Department with
regard to the Continuum of Care planning and resource development, for the period from
October 1, 2009 through September 30, 2010.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This Contract is funded 72% by Federal Medi-Cal Administrative Activities (MAA), 4% by
Federal Department of Housing and Urban Development, and 24% by budgeted County
General funds.
BACKGROUND:
On October 7, 2008, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #25–012–19 with The
Center for Common Concerns, Inc. (dba HomeBase), for the period from October 1, 2008
through September 30, 2009, for the provision of consultation and technical assistance to
