Adopt Resolution No. 2009/486 to clarify the lines of reporting authority between
Department Heads and the County Administrator.
FISCAL IMPACT:
None.
BACKGROUND:
To clarify the lines of reporting authority between Department Heads and the County
Administrator, the Board of Supervisors has determined that certain officers should
continue to report directly to the Board of Supervisors, and the Board should do their annual
performance evaluations. Oversight responsibility for other Department Heads and
employees as well as annual performance evaluations should be delegated to the County
Administrator.
