ADOPT Resolution No. 2009/478 between Contra Costa County and AFSCME Local 512
Probation that agrees to reopen Local 512 contract in the event the County enters into
agreement with the Probation Peace Officers Association that is not economically
equivalent to the current Local 512 Probation contract.
FISCAL IMPACT:

BACKGROUND:
During the conclusion of the latest negotiations with AFSCME Local 512, the County
agreed to reopen the Local 512 contract in the event the County negotiates an agreement
with the Probation Peace Officers Association that is not economically equivalent to Local
512 Probation with regard to retirement, medical, dental, uniform allowance or holiday
language.
