FISCAL IMPACT: The submission of these documents to CDVA allows the County to receive Subvention and Medi-Cal Cost Avoidance revenue for the 2009-2010 fiscal year, decreasing dependence on the County General Fund. For FY 2008-2009, the County received $78,683 in Subvention and $10,420 in Medi-Cal Cost Avoidance per the Military and Veterans Code of California, sections 972, 972.1 and 972.5 respectively. It is anticipated that FY 2009-2010 revenue will be consistent with FY 2008-2009 revenue received. BACKGROUND: CDVA administers the above two revenue programs per California Code of Regulations, APPROVE OTHER RECOMMENDATION OF CNTY ADMINISTRATOR RECOMMENDATION OF BOARD COMMITTEE Action of Board On: 10/06/2009 APPROVED AS RECOMMENDED OTHER Clerks Notes: VOTE OF SUPERVISORS AYE:John Gioia, District I Supervisor Gayle B.
