HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 10062009 - C.50RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent to execute a 2-year blanket purchase order with County Asphalt in the amount of $850,000 for road maintenance material, as recommended by the Public Works Director, Countywide. FISCAL IMPACT: The cost of $850,000 is budgeted over 2009/2010 and 2010/2011 - 100% Local Road funds. BACKGROUND: The Public Works Department uses asphalt concrete for county road maintenance duties Countywide. There is no requirement to spend the allocated amount during the year. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: Various projects will be delayed or not completed.
